TTK7D-6.0 is HVAC unit designed for CHR electric locomotive HXC1B and HXD1C models. With functions of ventilation, cooling and heating, it can be auto controlled through temperature sensing of return air and ambient air. It can be manual controlled as well, providing driver with comfortable indoor condition.
The unit is installed under dashboard of driver cab. The return air with inlet faces cab, and cool air with inlet at bottom of unit, mixed together within unit chamber, treated with cooling or heating, before blowing into driver cab, therefore adjusting indoor temperature to a comfortable level. The condensing water drains out through unit bottom holes to the ground. Air flow into the condensing chamber in the front, pass through condenser and flow under the vehicle.
With PLC control mode, the electrical part faces the cab, so that it can be effectively controlled, protected and diagnosed. Electrical parts is connected with control panel on dashboard with connector, convenient for operation and overhauled.
